The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Thursday relaxed mask guidance for fully vaccinated people — but not all retailers and restaurants aren't ready to welcome maskless customers.
Macy's and Kroger are among those saying they'll still make masks mandatory for shoppers and workers in their stores. Walmart, Costco, and others have dropped their mask requirement — although individual states can still mandate masks in stores.

Here's where fully vaccinated people will and will not have to wear a mask now that the guidance has changed.
AdvertisementTarget updated its policies on Monday, announcing that fully vaccinated customers and workers are no longer required to wear masks in its stores unless required by individual state laws.
"Face coverings will continue to be strongly recommended for guests and team members who are not fully vaccinated and we'll continue our increased safety and cleaning measures, including social distancing, throughout our stores," it said.
